Clove oil is used in our dental products as an obtundent in dentistry,we are using clove in dental field at geetanjali dental options malviya nagar for root canal sealing etc ,but it should not be used used by patients directly as some studies shows that it may damage gum if applied diretly hence to be used with caution only that too upon dentist recommendation only.
