- Wear your Removable retainer at all times, except while eating food and drinking liquids other than plain water.
- When your retainer is NOT in your mouth, it should ALWAYS be in its CASE. Pets love to chew on them! so keep them safely away from pets.
- Clean the retainer thoroughly once a day with a toothbrush and toothpaste. Use Room temperature water only not hot water. Brushing retainers remove the plaque and eliminate odors.
- Initially, you may find it difficult to speak. Practice speaking, reading, or singing out loud to get used to it faster.
- Also, there is a chance that you will have more salivation for the first few days than normal, and don’t stop wearing because of this.
- Retainers are breakable, so treat yours with care. If your retainer gets lost or broken, call us immediately. even a delay of 2 days will lead to shifting in teeth position) ( as there are high chances of teeth shifting back to their original position)
- If you have any questions or concerns about your retainer, or you believe it needs adjusting, call us. Do not try to adjust it yourself.
- If they are poking or hurting on gums then they need adjustment
- Always bring your retainer to your appointments.
- Retainer replacements are expensive, but with proper care, they lasts longer

- Keep retainers away from hot water, hot car dashboards, pockets, the washing machine, and napkins.
